Well the brand new 2013-2014 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue goes live today, 2nd July. There are some really gorgeous things in there so if you would like a copy just send me an email and I'll get one out to you.
With a new catalogue, of course there is an ESAD Blog Hop! What is ESAD? ESAD stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and it is an on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin' Up! demonstrators.
So if you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand, leave me a comment with your email address and I'll contact you with information on how to join our wonderful group.
Ok, well thank you for visiting my blog. You may have arrived here from Anne Wills but if not, you can always go back. There are 25 of us participating in this blog hop so should keep you busy for a while. Don't forget to leave comments - we love comments!
Right, onto my projects! First up is a scrapbook page. I have used Pool Party Coordinations cardstock, Pool Party was due to retire this year but has been brought back and is now part of the Subtles colour family. This was one of my favourite In Colours so I am really happy to see it in the regular range. The acetate strip at the top is the printed window sheet from the Quatrefancy DSP pack and I have stamped onto it with black stazon. The stamp is from the Happy Day stamp set. The strip of DSP along the bottom is from the same Quatrefancy pack. I have embossed a piece of Coastal Cabana c/s - one of the new In Colours with the Modern Mosaic embossing folder and rubbed the Coastal Cabana inkpad over the top to highlight the pattern. The little clips on the top of the cardstock are from the new Essentials Hardware clips - so cute! That is it! Very simple but scrapbook pages still seem to take ages to work out!
Next is a card featuring the Wildflower Meadow stamp and its matching embossing folder. This is a new concept. The stamp is one of the large background stamps. I have stamped it in Bermuda Bay - a new colour - ink onto Coastal Cabana c/s and then run it through the Wildflower Meadow embossing folder lining up the stamped image with the pattern on the embossing folder. I have wrapped some Whisper White organza ribbon around and the embellishment in the middle is the new modelling clay which I have tinted with a Coastal Cabana reinker and pressed into the new Buttons and Blossoms Simply Pressed molds. This stuff is great fun to play with! It's not like paperclay, it's really flexible. You get quite a large bag which is resealable and it goes a very long way. The clay airdries in about 24 hrs but its fine to touch in just a couple of hours. I added Dazzling Details glitter glue onto the flower. I have then stuck the top layer onto two new In Colours, Strawberry Slush and Pistachio Pudding. Hmm don't ask me how I got the cards on eitherside of the text but I like it lol!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog. The next person on the blog hop is Rochelle Blok and you can find her blog here
